Dr. David Sanders is the head instructor and Executive Director of Kabbalah Experience. David grew up in a traditional Jewish home and attended Yeshiva through high school before intensive study at ITRI Jerusalem for two years. Upon his return to the United States he studied Talmud for three years with Rabbi Joseph Dov Soloveitchik and was enrolled at Yeshiva University in the Chaver Program in Jewish Medical Ethics and in the Bernard Revel graduate school in Jewish Studies. He completed a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Hahnemann University in 1985. He became interested in Jewish mysticism in 1981 and started studying Chassidic texts and Kabbalistic meditation. Upon moving to Denver in 1989 he joined TRI and was a study partner of Rabbi Mordechai Twerski for many years. David’s kabbalah teachers include, Harav Moshe Shapira of Jerusalem and Rav Yitzchak Ginsburgh from Kfar Chabad, Israel. From his teachers he has learned the inner meaning of the Kabbalah and from his students how to make spiritual growth accessible and pragmatic.
Ilana Erez Ilana Erez originally a kibbutznik, who has lived in Denver for twenty years. She holds an undergraduate degree in business. Having lived in several countries Ilana’s global background has shaped her perspective on life. She held corporate positions that capitalized on her language skills and cultural sensitivity. Currently she is working in the public sector managing non-profit organizations that educate and disseminate the traffic safety message in Colorado’s ethnic communities. Studying Kabbalah for the last three years has propelled Ilana to explore ideas of marrying her passion for travel, art, and spiritual work to help youth in particular gain a greater sense of themselves.
Ken Diamond was born in New York, raised in Florida and has lived in Colorado since 2000. Ken is a graduate of the Duke University School of Law, and is currently Senior Counsel for Apartment Investment and Management Company. He is also a Kabbalah Experience student. Before joining the KE Board, Ken served as Board Chair for Intercambio de Comunidades Denver, an organization dedicated to promoting immigrant self-sufficiency through ESL classes and other programs. His interests include cooking, snowboarding and performing improv comedy.
Marty Dubin is a Principal with the Denver office of RHR International where he consults with business executives on corporate leadership. Prior to joining RHR, Marty had a private practice in Clinical Psychology and founded a series of start-up companies, selling three of them to publicly traded corporations. Besides holding the position of CEO or President at each of these enterprises, he also was a Vice President for a Fortune 100 company. Currently Marty is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Denver School of Professional Psychology. Marty holds a B.A. from the University of Colorado, an M.S. from Purdue University, and a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver. He is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Colorado and a member of the American Psychological Association. Previous board positions include the Colorado Psychological Association (past Chair of the Ethics Committee) and several non-profit associations.
Dr. Anne Goldberg graduated from the University of Southern California in psychology. She has been in Private Practice for 20 years specializing in neuropsychology, forensic psychology and health and chronic pain issues and has been the Director of Health One Bronco Sports Rehabilitation Chronic Pain Program for 12 years. Anne is a former Board Member of Aish Ahavas Yisroel, the Jewish Family Services-Adoption Connection, and Yeshiva Toras Chaim Women’s Auxiliary.
Richard S. Greenberg, Esq. has served as Subcommittee Counsel for the US House of Representatives; Supervisory Enforcement Attorney for the US Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, DC, and Chief of the Western Field Enforcement Office. Mr. Greenberg was a founder and Vice President of a national environmental management and litigation support consulting firm; and served as Director of Environmental Management Consulting Services for PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Greenberg has served on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Agency for Jewish Education (CAJE); the Hebrew Educational Alliance (HEA), and is on the advisory committee for the Center for Jewish Studies at the University of Colorado. He received is BA in Economics from Queens College of the City University of New York, and JD degree in Law from Rutgers University.
Ken Heller is a Colorado Native who worked in his family business and retired in 2003. Ken’s for profit board experiences include a solar panel manufacturing company and a fish farming company, involving Israeli technology. Ken’s business community board experience includes the Colorado Meat Dealers Association, National Small Business United, and the Governor of Colorado’s Small Business Advisory Board. Ken’s non-profit experience includes the Allied Jewish Federation, the Anti-Defamation League, and currently JCRC Board of the Federation.
Elliott R. Husney, Esq. has founded, financed and managed companies in the United States, Europe and Israel. He was employed as a Trial Attorney by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission and since then has engaged in Merchant Banking, Venture Capital and Angel Investing activities. Mr. Husney is President and sole shareholder of Elliott R. Husney, P.C. and a Managing Member of Margarita Group, LLC. He has been active in civic, charitable and political endeavors and is currently Chairman of Kabbalah Experience and a member of various governing committees of the Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado. Mr. Husney is the past President of the Denver Chapter of the American Jewish Committee and is the past Chairman of the Jewish Community Relations Council of the Allied Jewish Federation. He received his BSBA degree in Finance and JD degree in Law from the University of Denver.

Sharon Ripps is an owner and sales representative for the Jerusalem Stone Company in Denver. She is on the Board of Directors of Community Care, Inc. an Austin, TX based company serving the needs of developmentally disabled adults. Sharon was a recipe testing coordinator and served on the marketing committee for the Shalom Park Cookbook, Shalom on the Range. She is a past member of Junior League of Denver, a founding member and past President of the Leah Chapter of Hadassah. Sharon has two beautiful grandsons who are the light of her life.
